We just sent some PW4000 LPC blades to TOS. We received a very bad yield rate. We asked to have the “scrap units” to be returned to our facility. We sent the second opinion units to another facility. We received a 60% yield rate on units which otherwise would have been scrapped. Be very careful when you send units to TOS as they barely do a visual inspection.

Hey Tony. What a shame. We have used TOS before and the yield rate was not as terrible. Hopefully they’ll get their act together. Can you let us know the name of the facility performing so well?
